HISSING. SPITTING. Of the feline variety
Sadly, it's a reality at the vet's office and I see it often. It's the feline equivalent of growling and snapping. Look, I get it. I place no blame. Well, actually, I do place a little blame on the movie "Pet Sematary" - I walked into the room when my mom was watching it after I was supposed to be in bed as a child, and I am forever scarred... Anyways, I digress. The cat was terrified and was willing to let us know... But it makes me want to run for the hills. No joke. Often, I will tap out on that one with someone who prefers the hissing to the growling but today, it wasn't an option. So I dealt, mostly. It means she has some trouble controlling her arousal level when triggered by the above.
