Hi, I'm Laura

My goal is to be your family’s partner in understanding your dog, reducing overwhelm, and finding more joy in everyday life together.

As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Licensed Family Dog Mediator®, and Fear Free Certified Professional, I’ve spent nearly 20 years helping families support dogs who struggle with fear, stress, or handling challenges.

I created the Pup Parents Support Club to give dog parents a space that’s grounded in welfare, trust, and compassion - not pressure or perfection

Because when we understand why our dogs behave the way they do, we can meet them where they are and grow together - with a lot less stress and a lot more connection.
I believe that dog parenting should feel less like a struggle and more like an adventure. My goal is to help you discover the why behind your dog’s behaviors and give you the tools to support them in the best way possible.​

Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes! The membership is flexible and renews automatically every month. You can cancel anytime, as long as it's at least 48 hours before your renewal date—no questions asked!
How much time do I need to commit?
As much or as little as fits into your life! My goal is to help you integrate training seamlessly into your daily routine without feeling overwhelmed. It’s not about setting aside hours of work every day—it’s about making small, intentional changes that fit your family and your dog’s needs. With my guidance, you’ll learn to implement effective management techniques and bite-sized training plans that keep you motivated and make life with your dog more enjoyable.
What if I'm not on Facebook?
While the Facebook group is a key part of the membership’s community support, all training materials and resources are housed on a separate platform. You’re welcome to email me with questions or interact directly within the membership platform. I plan to introduce an additional community option in the future, but for now, the Facebook group is the hub for member interaction.
What if I'm not tech savvy?
If you’ve made it this far, you’ve got all the tech skills you need! If you’re new to Zoom or other tools we use, I’m happy to provide a walkthrough or share a quick video tutorial. Don’t let tech be a barrier—I’m here to make it easy for you, and I actually enjoy the tech side of things!

You’ll gain access to a wealth of resources, including on-demand video lessons, handouts, live group coaching calls, a supportive community, and personalized feedback. It’s everything you need to make real progress with your dog.
What kind of support can I expect?
​You’ll have access to group coaching calls, office hours for quick questions, and community support. Plus, you can reach out through the membership platform for guidance tailored to your needs.
Do I need any special tools or equipment?
Not at all! Most training can be done with items you already have at home. I’ll provide recommendations as needed, but I’ll also help you work with what you have to keep things simple and accessible.
Is the membership right for me if I’m just starting with my dog?
Absolutely! Whether you’re a first-time dog parent or just looking to brush up on your skills, the membership is designed to meet you where you are and provide step-by-step guidance.
What if I have a specific issue with my dog?
The membership covers a wide range of common challenges, from leash pulling to fear-based behaviors but no dog and family is alike so if you need additional help, members also receive discounts on private coaching sessions.
