​My name is Laura Gendron

I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a Certified Family Dog Mediator, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and an Associate's Degree in Animal Science. For 10 years, I worked as a Veterinary Technician and now offer Private Virtual and In-Person Coaching and Consulting for you and your family dog.

But that's what I do, not who I am.
I'm a self-proclaimed "behavior nerd", with a love for teaching, podcast-obsessed, a mom of two, a wife, a creative entrepreneur, pickleball lover, a community networker, and a lifetime learner.
I started my business, Miss Behavior, in 2008 and I am constantly seeking and implementing ways to teach you how to better your life with your four-legged companion, whether through doing much of the training for you, offering online options, or listening to you and thinking beyond the box.

➡️ Dogs are more than pets. They are family and as family, building and maintaining a trusting relationship is everything.
➡️ ​Dogs must be understood from the inside out. In order to meet our dog's needs, we must first learn what they are.
➡️ ​The family that raises the dog is as important as the dog. Understanding the needs, goals, and expectations of the family is a big part of my job as coach, teacher, and consultant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel at any time or am I locked in?
The membership will automatically renew every month but you can cancel up to 48 hours before your renewal date, no questions asked! 
How much of a time commitment is this?
As much or as little time as you'd like but my goal is always to be listening to what you need, what keeps you motivated. Training your dog isn't about setting aside an hour or more every day to do WORK. It's about integrating intentional training into your day to day as quickly and as easily as possible. That's where the coaching comes in. I'll be coaching you to make life with your dog more enjoyable. That includes good management techniques, as well as plans to train in small pieces and with small tasks
What if I'm not on Facebook?
At this time, Facebook is the only community platform incorporated within the membership. All content is housed on a separate website. Facebook is only used for the community support piece. You are always welcome to email me your questions directly or post them within the content pieces where prompted. My goal is to add a second community aspect eventually but for now, the community side of things resides on Facebook
What if I'm not tech saavy?
If you're tech saavy enough to have made it here to read this, that's really all you need. If you struggle with Zoom or any other tech aspects, I would be happy to set aside some time to walk you through it or to send you a video that will do that for you. Don't let the tech stop you. Luckily, I enjoy the technology side of this business too!
