A little about my why...
When I was working in the Veterinary field, I was able to listen to and empathize with the clients, the pets, and the pet parents. There was a lot of struggle coming from all sides. Whether it was due to miscommunication & misunderstanding, poor experiences & trauma, expectations and biases, personality mismatch, or lack of emotional, physical, or financial resources...it was so hard - for all involved.
When working with clients, my goal is to keep them moving on their non-linear path, inspiring them to see their dog from the inside out while also understanding their own personal needs, expectations, and feelings about the dog they are sharing their life with.
When working with pet professionals, my goal is to take them back to where they started on their professional journey, with the pet and client in mind. The professional path is loaded with heavy burdens that can create a very foggy journey forward. I want to help clear the way and provide support wherever it's needed along the way.
As a Family Dog Mediator, my overall goal is to be the person who can bring it all together, mediating on behalf of all beings involved.
